Although teleseminars are more commonly used as lead-generating tools, you can also make money by selling them. Just like ebooks and CD series, these information base products also have viable market online.

Here’s how you can excel at teleseminar selling:

1. Sell yourself first. Buyers would like to know who you are first and how well you do on your chosen niche before they trust you and later on, buy from you. Although you cannot go with the traditional way of introducing yourself to your potential clients when doing internet marketing, you can still create a great impression by introducing yourself on your website. Make sure that your “About Me” page is well-written, well thought-out, and very interesting. It must contain not only your personal information but also your credentials, educational background, relevant experience, and expertise. In addition, you can also add your customers’ testimonials and recommendations coming from other experts on your chosen niche.

2. Know the online behavior of your target market. You can easily connect with those people who are most likely to buy from you if you know their online behavior. Do your research and figure out the most popular search terms that they are using on search engines. You will need to use these keywords on your ads and on your content base marketing solutions so your prospects will easily find them online. You will also need to know the various websites that are usually being visited by these people (example; blogs, forums, social networking sites, etc.) as these are the best sites where you should post your banner ads and paid links to.

3. Choose your marketing tools. To date, there are so many internet marketing tools that you can use to promote your products online. Although some of them are effective to other marketers, some might not work for you. Depending on your budget, availability and skills and depending on your prospects’ online behavior, you can use any of the following internet marketing tools; social media marketing, blogging, PPC advertising, article marketing, forum posting, affiliate marketing, SEO, link building, ezine publishing, email marketing, etc.

4. Set up your budget. Although there are marketing tools that you can use for free (example; ezine publishing, email marketing, article marketing, etc.), there are those that will require you to shell out your money. Its okay to spend dollars for your advertising cost but you must know how to put some limits. Keep in mind that your advertising cost must not exceed your sales and revenue.
