A reverse funnel is where you start by promoting a higher ticket product first, You expose people to a higher ticket product first. The disadvantage to that particular model is that if you're just getting started on line, you don't have the time or know-how to create $1000 or $5000 product. You have to start with that smaller ticket priced product.

What happens is that most people who have become successful on line start out with smaller ticket products and they do something similar to this. I'm just going to give you these numbers off the top of my head so they may not be exactly the same a week from now. But let's just assume your goal is say $5000 a month. You might start out by creating a $10 product and you might sell that product until you're doing a hundred sales a month at $10, that's $1000 a month. At that point, you need to transform that product to $50 product. And then what you need to do is work with that product until you get that product to 100 units a month. Now obviously if you're only doing a 100 units at $10 a month, a $10 product, if you switch to a $50 product, then you're not going to do 100 units.

You might do 20 units or 25 units. The thing is you're doing exactly the same amount of volume, but now you're doing it with a $50 product. You may be only selling 20 of them the first month. Then next month, you sell 25 or 30 of them. You move that up until again you're doing 50 times 100. Now you're at $5000. A $50 product at a 100 units a month. Then what you do is introduce a $100 product, a $1000 product, or whatever the case is. The sane thing is going to happen. You're going to do $5000 a month, but at $100, it'll be 50 units. The $1000 will be five units. And then you'll build that up over time. That's you kind of marry or merge those two product funnels. Neither one of those product funnels is perfect. A lot of people on line will use a combination of those funnels.

What they'll do is provide people with the opportunity to buy a low-priced item in month and a higher priced product the next month. Sometimes that allows you to get both ends out of your list. But, again, the very first thing that somebody is exposed to when they get to your list is going to dictate who they are.
