Sean: I say this to everybody – always record any class that you give. Always record it because it has value, either you can sell it in the future, you can make it available to the people in the class, and then you can also use it for your own training. You can go back in and listen to it and ask yourself, “How could I have changed something that I did so that this would be more valuable?”

You obviously can’t go back in and change what you have, but you can change what you do in the future, so you can use it as your own learning tool.

Caller: I wanted to let you know that there is another model going on now around the internet, where people do something like what you talked about where you bring in a series of experts, and they charge a very small amount to get in and listen to the interviews.

Let’s say they charge $40 or $47, something like that, and then there’s a one-time offer on the page where you just signed up to upgrade and for the one-time offer you’re going to pay $140 or $120.

You get the transcripts and the mp3 of the interviews in case you can’t make it, and then the big ticket item on that business model is each affiliate actually has a high-ticket item that they sell. The person who’s coordinated the interviews gets probably 50% of it.

Sean: Yeah, absolutely, that’s another way. Now if we look back to what we talked about early on the call where we might have say a $50 product and we might have a $100 product, and those are products that we don’t really have out there for revenue – for example, if you get a $49 group call like that, or you get a $140 group call, you’re not really selling that for the revenue. You’re simply using that so that two things happen.

One major thing that happens is that trust that we talked about earlier, that by downloading or by listening in on those calls then they’re able to develop trust and they begin to believe you. Obviously you’re also qualifying people for income at all. There’s always freebie seekers online and there’s nothing wrong with those individuals, but when you’re marketing higher ticket products a lot of times you may only market it to people that perhaps have bought something from you before.
