You may have people that say, “Well, I will or will not take $400/hour for 6 hours of time.” However, if John is a savvy marketer, what he’s probably thinking is, “Wow, if I do this class for these people, these are all very highly-qualified people. They’ve all spent $5,000 with my buddy, Will, to learn how to do this. What do I stand to get out of this? I mean my goodness, I’m exposed to 10 people. Two or three of these people might be highly interested in continuing to do consulting with me at whatever my standard rate is. They might be interested in being in a class of my own sometime in the future.”

Would that perhaps motivate John to do this for a lower price, or perhaps even for just the exposure?

Caller: Yes, it would motivate him, sure.

Sean: Yeah, so does that answer your question about compensation?

Caller: Yes, it does, that’s great. Thank you.

Sean: You’re welcome.

Any other niches that we want to look at here?

Obviously if you’re following through you probably already have some wheels turning in your head and you’re thinking, “Wow, this will definitely work in my niche. I can see how this might work in my niche.”

Does anybody else have a niche that you’d like me to do this picture on, to help you build up what your package might look like?

Rhonda: I’ll do it with you. This is Rhonda.

Sean: Ok Rhonda, go ahead.

Rhonda: I’m planning on opening up an ecommerce store selling sports equipment and nutritional supplements.

Sean: And you’re planning to open up that store – do you have experience with this yet?

Rhonda: I’ve just been studying like traffic and link building and things like that. It would be a Yahoo store.

Sean: You’re opening up a Yahoo store, but you don’t actually have experience with it yet?

Rhonda: No.

Sean: Would you want to create a training program in this, where you set something up where you brought people in like John, Mark, Joan, and Mary to help teach, or would you be thinking about is there something else you might have experience in that you can share your knowledge with other people?

Rhonda: I’d rather set up the experts just like you talked about.

Sean: So you’ll set up the experts just like I talked about. Great, let’s build a similar picture. Obviously if you’re teaching a class like this then people want to come in and they want to build retail stores in other niches than sports equipment and sports supplements, so my guess would be that you might make your class itself be sort of generic.
