Over the past decade our country has attempted to make a lot of progress toward reducing greenhouse gases, and pollution. One of the better innovations is the development of a more efficient electric scooter. Today, they are easier to ride, hold a longer charge, and look great doing it. Listed below are some of the ways that electric scooters help the environment while transporting people safely, and comfortably.

Reduced Emissions

Noise Pollution

Oil Dependency

Handling of Fuel

Reduced Emissions: With many people being concerned about the amount of carbon emissions begin pumped into the atmosphere, electric scooters are a great transportation alternative. One reason is their carbon footprint is very small compared to combustion engines. Sure there is a footprint because the electricity they operate on has to be produced, but they considerably reduce emissions. Also, instead of idling at traffic stop signs and pumping more exhaust into the air, electric scooters run clean and emission free.

The carbon footprint of an electric scooter is small, and produces no emission during normal operation.

Noise Pollution: There are many kinds of pollution, and noise pollution is one of them. The noise that cars and trucks contribute to our communities is substantial because of the gasoline, or diesel combustions engines they use. But electric scooters have a quiet operation, and produce no additional noise pollution. Electric scooters are noise free, and run virtually silent during normal operation. If you want to reduce the level of noise pollution in your community, then an electric scooter is a great way to do it.

Electric scooters do not contribute to more noise pollution, but in fact are virtually silent while riding.

Oil Dependency: The national consciousness about our dependency on foreign oil has us looking for many alternatives. One of the biggest drains on our oil supply is the automobiles, and trucks used in transportation. Recently there has been a great interest in electric scooters as an alternative to combustion engines. With the exception of the oil used to produce the electricity that scooter batteries need to operate, the amount of oil used is minimal. Electric scooters are a good way to help reduce oil dependency by providing an efficient transportation alternative.

Using an electric scooter is a great way to transport your self around, and help reduce our dependency on foreign oil supplies.

Handling of Fuel: The emission produced by cars and trucks is not the only pollution they add to the atmosphere. Have you ever noticed as you drive by a gas station you can smell the gas fumes in the air? This is because fuel is escaping into the air. Also fuel spills are very common causes for fires. But, these are all avoided with an electric scooter because no fuel handling is necessary, and there are no leaking fumes, or the potential of a spill. The electric scooter is a clean machine, and eliminates the need for handling dangerous gasoline by riders.

An electric scooter does not require the handling of gasoline fuel, and so the risks associated with fuel handling are eliminated.
