I am going out on the limb here. I am currently writing a package of autoresponder campaigns to provide to list builders so they don’t have to write their own autoresponder campaigns. But I am still going to show you how to do it and write a couple of examples right here.

First, you must decide what is the intent of your autoresponder campaign, and then you must ask yourself before you write a letter, does this advance my purpose with this campaign, and how can I write it in such a way that it advances my purpose?

Second, you must write to a person, not a list. Do not use language like, Dear list members, instead, use Dear {!firstname}.

Third, you must write like you talk - conversationally.

Ok, so how should you structure your campaign?

I will assume you are offering a free course and ebook for joining your list.

This is the list of emails:

1) A Thank You email for subscribing, include link to ebook

2) First lesson

3) Second lesson

4) A short note asking how they like the course. Encourage responses.

5) Third lesson

6) A recommendation of a product you have used and has helped you immensely.

7) Fourth lesson

8) Fifth lesson

9) A free, unannounced gift

10) Sixth lesson

Are you getting the idea here?

Now for some sample emails:

Email 1) Dear {!firstname},

Thank you for subscribing to my ecourse (name it). Here is the link to the fre.e ebook I promised you. Be looking for your first lesson in tomorrow’s email.

Sincerely,

Sean Mize

Email 4)

Dear {!firstname},

I trust you have been enjoying and getting great value out of studying this ecourse. Of course, it is my desire to consistently bring you better content, so if you would simply hit ‘reply’ to this email and answer the following two questions, I would personally appreciate it:

What is the one thing you most want to learn about regarding (insert name of niche)?

What is the most frustrating thing about (insert name of niche)?

Thank you in advance for your responses. I will try to answer them in future emails, or I will respond personally.

Take care,

Sean Mize

Email 6)

Dear {!firstname},

Recently I purchased a copy of the new program (insert your affiliate item here) and have learned some things that have allowed me to increase my income by (insert accurate amount here) and just thought you might like to take a look:

(insert link here)

To your success,

Sean Mize

Ok, folks, that is all for now. (Sorry, you will have to write the ecourse itself yourself) Enough freebies for one day!
