With our economy taking a downward turn, there are many out there looking for jobs and they are all trying to come up with new creative ways for getting themselves noticed out in the today's job market.

The best way is to have a really creative resume cover letter, but a lot of people have come up with other inventive ways of landing that job.

They rent billboards, they make themselves walking resumes, they even go so far as getting their hopefully future bosses drunk and offering them money as incentives, so this game of job seeking has changed forever.

Are these extreme strategies and stunts really effective in finding and landing that great job or does this damage your credibility so that you can't ever really recover from it even if you land that initial interview?

There was a technique that I saw someone do that did work and I thought was quiet brilliant.

A man sent out an email with his resume and the cover letter attached to absolutely every single person he knew.

In this email he offered the person who was responsible for introducing him to the job he landed, a hundred and fifty dollar finder's fee.

This one email got him a job offer. So, you really have to look beyond just your resume and your resume cover letter, you should make finding a job interesting and fun.

Unfortunately, there are so many out there that are doing hopeless attempts for getting noticed or getting initial interest but it never goes anywhere.

So, this makes me believe, even when you try a bit of creative stuff, the basics had better be solid.

The three basics being the resume, your cover letter and you job interview.

Many experts believe that it's very important to stand out from all the other applicants, it's still best that you accomplish this through the conventional methods.

This is the what links the extreme job hunter winners from all the losers, the most important being your resume cover letter. This is actually even more important then your resume itself.
