Obviously, your first set of subscribers will continue to purchase at the same rate, sometimes I will draw this like 8 lines down and I will break it into two parts; the new subscribers, the old subscribers. Today, instead I am just using a different conversion rate. The numbers at the end work out to be exactly the same, so the first month we looked at a 3 and a 3rd percent conversion rate, the second month we used a 3% conversion rate.
For the month of March I am going to use a 2-1/2% conversion rate, which means on 900 subscribers, 2-/12% of that, it is going to be 22-1/2 sales. We call that 22 sales, then we will have sales of 22 times $50 will be 1100 dollars. I noticed that we are doing this increased business on the exact same number of incoming visitors. To multiply this out, let’s say in April we have 2% and probably dropping too fast for March and April.
So what I am going to do is I am going to make April, May, and June all at 2% and at some point you may level out at like 1-1/2% some are between 1 and a half and are 2%. Let’s look at my numbers right now exactly 10,300 subscribers and about 200 sales a month, so I am running about 2%. My list is 17 months old, so I think if you use 2% all the way across the border it is nice, it is a good number.
So, now in April we have 1200 subscribers, 2% sales as 24 sales times 500 dollars what is that 24 times 500 would be 1200 dollars in revenue. The next month 1500 times 2% would be 30 sales 50 dollars would be 1500 dollars, then in June you do the same thing 2% of the 1800 would be 36 times 50-1800 dollars in sales. This is contrasting to the 500 dollars in sales that you would have had if you would only send people immediately to a squeeze page and this number continues to grow and what you have probably noticed is that this 2% level with a 50 dollar purchase okay then you end up doing one dollar per month per subscriber, that is pretty much an industry standard as about one dollar per month per subscriber.
Some marketers that do not do much marketing or have very low ticket items will range anywhere from 50 cents to 1 dollar and then marketers will range anywhere from the dollars on up to several dollars. Most people with huge lists do not get passed about two dollars and if you just take this it is the same 2% of 2% times 1800 subscribers, you would have 36 sales and if your average is 100 dollars instead of 50 dollars, you would have 3600 dollars in sales, which would be 2 dollars. Notice, I am trying to keep these numbers very conservative.
