Say you are selling a product that is $50 and you have a 1% conversion rate, and then with a 1000 visitors 1% conversion rate would give you 10 sales with $50, which could be $500. So put $500 all the way across on the next line all the way across. So this shows you that with 1000 visitors every single month you are going to generate $500 every single month.
The next two boxes down we are going to talk or we are going to show how it would be different if you were to generate a list and so in the next box down I want you to assume instead of sending these people to a sales page, I want you to assume that you send them to a squeeze page instead and so what is going to happen is that instead of becoming a sale right away, they are going to become a subscriber first.
So, we are going to force them to give us their name and e-mail address in exchange for some introductory information about us or about our niche, information that they can really use. Now, my average squeeze page converts a 37%. I have pages that convert as high as 65% with targeted traffic that I want to use with nice, fair square number here. 37% is my average all the way across the board and that includes the pages that do very poorly, but I have not taken time yet to kind of treat them so that they do better. For the purpose of this or this right here.
What I want to do is use 30%. Some drop in your bar down a lot lower to 30% conversion rate on your opt in page. What that is going to do is give you 300 subscribers additional each month. So what I want to do on this next line down is write 300 on the next line and next line down underneath each one of these columns is one these subscribers. So, you are going to have 300 subscribers the first month. In February, you will have 600 because you will have 300 from the last month and then 300 from this month. Then the next month is 900 subscribers. The next month is 1200 subscribers; the next month is 1500 subscribers, the next month after that is 1800 subscribers.
