Free traffic is a myth. There is no such thing as “free traffic”. There is such thing as an accidental visitor that accidentally visits your website and that occasionally occurs, but you will never build a business on that.
People talk about and you probably in my earlier days about how article marketing even was free. Article marketing is not free. Article marketing requires that you stand half an hour of your time of whatever takes you to write an article or it requires that you pay somebody else to do that and it requires that you do that multiple times every month and whether you are donating your time or you are paying money that is not free. You know, you spend 30 hours a week generating traffic via article marketing.
If you do not spend a penny on it, it is still not free because you could have been working somewhere for those 30 hours instead and generating an income and you could use that income to pay people to write the articles, so even article marketing is not free. Search engine optimization traffic is not free.
Sure, you may not get charged when somebody clicks on your link if it is an organic search click, you may not get charged, but the only way to get that search engine traffic is to take the time or spend the money. Pay somebody else to do it, to get your page optimized, gets lots of back links in. You know, you look at my traffic. I generate about 18000 unique visitors every single month and you know, maybe 500 of those visitors you might be able to offer me a convincing argument that 500 of them are free. You know, the only they are free is that I did not literally pay for each one of those clicks, but I paid for the other 17500 and if I did not have the other 17500, the 500 accidental people would not have clicked and so really the cost of those “free visitors” are really simply being observed by all the other work that I am doing so there is no such thing as long-term free traffic and certainly not traffic that you can use to build the 15000 dollars.
You are going to have to invest your time, your money, or both in the generating traffic to make all this happen no matter how finely tuned your system is. If you do not have traffic you will not make any money. It is just like if you go out tomorrow and buy a 80,000 dollar Mercedes Benz and you know every piece of that car is sitting right there in your driveway if you do not put fuel into it. You are not driving anywhere and that is what traffic is to your web business. Traffic is fuel to your web business.
